Since so many days have escaped unrecorded (the mind's eye inundated with images, words, places, feelings...) I'll have to do just a brief backing up to recall what ground we've covered since...
Weds. 18th night Wanganui with Noel, Wayne, Sheila
Thursday 19th night, same
Fri 20th night Otaki with Keith and Olga
Sat 21st night rode bike out to Otaki Beach, then rode over to race track across from Keith and Olga's to watch the horses.
Sun 22nd - Wellington Got around town had seen Mark (windsurfer from Taupo) on road south - found him in Wellington with windsurfers - cruised the town all along extensive lovely waterfront - had beers outside at a restaurant - enjoyed day - stayed at only motor camp in town - kid's camp, etc. (see poems)
Mon 23rd - Wellington - Busy day, bought tickets for ferry across, Jim to employment agency, etc. - stayed again, with extreme reservations, at motor camp (bought bathing suit)
