Awoke, had coffee, broke camp, and set out across the now exposed tide flats. Stopped at hut on other side only to use toilet, then on around beaches, a sheep field, and on up the track. Beautiful! Great diversity as you climb and descend, come around corners, glimpse the water, pass a stream, come on to another beach.
Went by two great waterfalls before reaching Bark Bay Hut, where a raucous day party of older folks was having a grand picnic, welcoming all comers to steak, sausage, bread, oranges, wine!!! Fun! One old fellow had us as his captive audience as he played a ukelale and sung the "Window Washer's Song"! (A classic!) Enjoyed the feast, visited more with those we'd met earlier on track (Jan and Brigitte - German/Dane, Hobson and Karen - Alabama) - travelled on.
Finally made camp at Torrent Bay Campground on the water - saw two gulls mating - WOW - and enjoyed giving the feet a rest!
