We explored Invercargill - trouble at the bank (it appeared that Jim's credit card didn't have enough on it - discovered finally a couple days later that it was simply a limit on how much you can take cash-advance at a time) - We drove back out to Bluff and both snorkelled - I even saw an octopus - it's a whole different and beautiful wold under the water; swirling seaweed, darting fish, colors, etc. We spent Monday night at the Argyle Motor Camp - had some wind and rain, but it was nice inside, reading.

In the a.m. we met Richard (from California) - went back out to the bluff with him; Jim and Richard did some snorkelling. Then the three of us eventually made our way to the Aluminum Plant for the free tour at 2:00. Interesting and entertaining - got to wear hardhats, goggles and of course got a free sample of aluminum!
We found another really nice campspot by the river, and took in a movie at 8:00 in downtown Invercargill ("Pick-up Artist - Molly Ringwald)
